Jacket of dreams....

Black? Aztec Print? Leather? Biker style? Now imagine all of this amalgamated into one item. I give you this AMAZING jacket from the Zara s/s 13 collection. I spotted this today while browsing the Zara website and  instantly decided that come pay day I am definitely purchasing this. Out the window goes my new years resolution to only buy quality classic pieces, this jacket is definitely not what I call a classic wardrobe essential, but I am justifying the purchase as a once a season 'fun' piece that I can throw on over items currently in my wardrobe, like my beige Isabel Marant Dicker  Topshop boots with a grey jersey midi dress.
Embroidered Biker Coat £99.99 - available  here

B&Q chic

Clockwise from top; Coat £89, Jumper £30, Pork Pie Hat £25, Dungarees £100, Leather Shorts £90, Shoes £75, Tee £14
All Topshop
Topshop have some really amazing pieces in store at the moment. I really love the orange, white a black colour palate, I have a dogstooth print bag which I think would really work well with the above pieces. I haven't worn dungarees since my mum got me a stonewash denim pair as a kid from the clubby catalogue in the 90's, but these sleek black ones seem stylish enough to wear without looking like a throwback from a time fashion forgot. I would perhaps advise against wearing the orange jumper with them unless you want to look like a human version of B&Q

Back!

I'm back.....

After a long hiatus from blogging I have decided to make a return to t'internet. I wish I could say the reason for not writing in so long is due to having being busy doing something fantastically interesting but in reality I haven't actually been up to that much. I have started studying again which I guess takes up a lot of my free time but at the moment I don't have any exams coming up so I am free to do as I wish after work usually involves slobbing out on the sofa watching Real Housewives of the OC on Itv 2)I figured my time would be better spent doing something kindof constructive?
Anyway...I was in town today to have a nosy around the shops and see what was left in the sales. I always find that by the end of January, if you are willing to rummage through all the shit left over from the summer sales you can find some really good bargains. Zara is case in point. I often don't even bother to look in Zara for the first week or so of the sales as the discounts are really poor. However come the end of January is when Zara tend to make their biggest reductions and there is usually a lot of decent A/W stock left. In the Aberdeen store where I was at today, over half the store was still dedicated to sale. I picked up this leather  'cutwork' top (as I believe all the fah-shun folk are calling it)  for £17.99 that I had my eye on for a while, but didn't think it warranted the original £39.99 price tag. Despite being faux leather it does look pretty real. Sorry about the awful quality photo and blame Zara for the dirty mirror

leather with holes in!
